19732 saw many of the "Great Race" Regulations changed. One of which saw the race increased from 500 miles to 1000 kilometers adding an extra 33laps. Another was due to media backlash against limited edition supercars available for public sale.
Fords would rain dominant but with increased fuel consumption they would lag and allow the Torana's to catch up. Didn't stop this LJ from claiming 5th place.
